Jewell currently serves as Director of Ministry & Program Development for Christ The King Baptist Church. She has over 20 years of experience in Church Administration and providing executive support to International Union President and directors. She is a long serving member of the Christ The King Baptist Church Christian Education team, while also giving direction to the Samaritan Project, Inc. Sharron holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development and Adult Education, and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Professional Communication, both from Alverno College.
Dorothy has over 20 years’ experience providing functional oversight, management, and thought leadership in the Human Resource and Information Technology fields across a number of industries including Financial Services, HVAC Services, Technology and Manufacturing.
She spent a number of years in management positions in General HR, Workforce Diversity, and Data Administration. Her understanding that human capital is a valuable assets fuels her desire to deliver superior results through effective communication with individuals at all levels. She holds a BA in Business Management from Alverno College and an MBA in Finance from Concordia University.
Harper has over 35 years experience working in the Human service field, which includes the following: Executive Director for Trans Center for Youth, 1983-2002, with oversight of three residential facilities–two for males and one located in Racine County for girls; Site Coordinator for Malcolm X Academy (2001-2004) after school programs of the Community Learning Center and Safe and Sound activities; Director of Operations for MT Castle Transitional Living Services LLC (beginning 2004), providing residential services as well Independent living services for youth aging out of the foster care system.
Harper has also served on Governor’s Juvenile Task Force, Legislature Council on Juvenile Justice issues; member of the Grand Avenue Board and presently serves as the board chairman for Travis Academy. Michael has been a member of Christ The King family for 18 years.
Harper attended UW-Whitewater earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Criminal Justice. He has a passion for working with youth and their families to help them overcome the obstacles which they face in these times.
Lyn Carlyle has been a member of the Christ The King family for over 12 years and has served as Leader of the Seeds to Grow By ministry and as a Core member of (WIM) Women In Ministry, giving leadership to several initiatives to support the programs for causes that affect women. Currently serving as Leader of the Ambassador/Timothy Ministry, Lyn is passionate and dedicated to welcoming new members to CTK by overseeing the paths that lead new members to find a place to serve within the body of Christ.
Lyn attended UW-Milwaukee earning a certification in Credit Management and the University of Phoenix, Business Management program. After serving as a Credit Manager for over 20 years, Lyn was afforded the opportunity to switch careers and has served as a Marketing Account Executive for the past ten years. Lyn is now the Client Services Manager with Harte Hanks.
Lonnie J. Anderson has been within the Milwaukee Pubic Schools for over 27 years as a Class Room Teacher, Assistant Principal and for the past 17 years a Principal. Mr. Anderson has been a member of Christ the King M.B. Church for more than 20 years, serving in many leadership capacities and on several boards. In addition to serving on many community boards over the years, Mr. Anderson has a wife and two sons.
Justine Hall is a Special Education Teacher at Thurston Woods Campus Milwaukee Public School. She is a former Kindergarten Teacher for King’s Academy. Ms. Hall received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in General Education with a Minor in Political Science from Lakeland College and a Master of Science in Administrative Leadership with a Concentration in Adult & Continuing Education Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Justine has served on the Milwaukee Urban League of the Young Professional board as a committee member and as treasurer.
Laurel L. Nobles is the Program Manager for Title I vendor, Learn It Systems, in the Milwaukee, WI Market. With 15 years of experience in the field of education, Laurel considers herself a leader and motivator who is detail and goal oriented and who loves working with others. She is the former Principal of King’s Academy Christian School (2006-2011) and under her leadership she watched many students get accepted to high school, graduate and go to college.
Mrs. Nobles has a BS in Economics with a minor in Business Management, an MS in Business Education Post-Secondary from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Elementary Education (MSEA) from National Louis University and certification in Administrative Leadership from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
